SECURITY PROCEDURES
As an added security measure, to ensure your child's safety, PICK-UP AUTHORIZATION cards must be filled out. If you haven’t already done so, please visit our registration site – click view registrations – forms- household information- write in who is allowed to pick up- submit-https://pilgrimdaycamp.campbrainregistration.com
Each Unit Leader will have a copy of their unit’s authorization cards. Please write a note and send it with your child if someone who is not on the authorization card is picking up.

DROP OFF AND PICKUP LOCATIONS:
LOWER PARKING LOT
PLYMOUTH HOUSE - PILGRIM HOUSE- BLOCK HILL
Campers in these younger units should be dropped off and picked up at the EDWARDS HOUSE (large white house next to the red winter office). Enter at the main entrance on Badger Road, off of Salem End Rd. Follow the driveway, bearing right at top, and proceed as directed. A counselor will come to your car and bring your child to their group. There is NO parking once up at Edwards House or in the rotary due to heavy traffic, if you would like to walk your child to their group, please park in a parking space, and walk them up.
MIDDLE PARKING LOT
BIRCH HILL- QUARRY HILL - BANNER HOLLOW-PINE NOTCH
Drop off and pickup area is in the FIELD AREA on your left, just inside the Main Entrance on Badger Rd. A counselor will come to your car to bring your camper to their group.
UPPER PARKING LOT
MAPLE RIDGE-SHADY WOODS- BADGER KNOLL-WHITE PINES-ROCKY RIDGE -CITS: Proceed to the Second, or “Upper Parking Area” on Badger Road, shortly beyond the main first entrance. PLEASE ENTER THIS AREA BETWEEN 8:45- 9:00 A.M. at the "ENTRANCE" only. The gates to the parking lot will not be open prior to 8:45. We ask that you refrain from coming earlier. Cars that are backed up too early on Badger Rd. present a serious safety problem.
Carpool + Multiple Unit Pick Up Directions: Please pick up your carpool at the youngest child’s group. I.E if you have a Rocky Ridge camper, Maple Ridge camper, and a Plymouth House camper in your carpool, proceed to pick them up at the lower parking lot. They will be waiting for you there. Dropping Off: If you would like to drop off each child at their designated parking lot you are more than welcomed to do so.
If you would rather drop your carpool off at one place- just know we will do our best to bring them to their unit as fast as we can.
LATE ARRIVALS: Children arriving at camp after 9:00 a.m. should be brought to the camp office where they are to be signed in.
EARLY DISMISSALS: Campers will not be allowed to leave camp early without written authorization by a parent or guardian. This must be submitted to the child's unit leader and/ or office staff. THE CAMP MUST BE NOTIFIED, IN WRITING, IF SOMEONE OTHER THAN A PARENT, GUARDIAN, OR CARPOOL DRIVER IS BEING AUTHORIZED TO TAKE YOUR CHILD OUT OF CAMP. Your child should be aware, whenever possible, if someone other than the regular driver will be taking him or her home. All early dismissals will take place at the camp office. Your child is to be signed out there.
TOWEL SERVICE: Towels will be provided to the campers in Plymouth House and Pilgrim House with each swim period. All other campers should bring their own towels. Please make sure they are labeled.
COOKOUTS: The camp provides a cookout every Friday.
MORNING EXTENDED DAY: From 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. Children should be brought to the Pavilion at the middle parking lot field area, near the lower parking lot, and animal pen. Senior staff will be waiting to check campers in. Campers should not be dropped off before 7:30 a.m. Children must be previously enrolled to take part in this program.
AFTERNOON EXTENDED DAY: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to swim and do various other activities during this time. Pick up for this program will be to the right of the camp office.
LUNCH: Full day, Morning, and Afternoon campers should bring lunch every day, except Friday. Lunches are not refrigerated. Milk is provided with lunch, as well as a Popsicle daily. A morning snack is provided for children in the three youngest groups, Plymouth House, Pilgrim House and Block Hill.
WHAT TO BRING:
PILGRIM DAY CAMP TEE SHIRTS: Tee shirts with the camp logo may be purchased at the Open House on June 27th. T-shirts are $10.00 each (Optional).
LOST ARTICLES: We cannot be responsible for articles lost by a camper. Everything should be clearly labeled. You may choose to check the Lost and Found building, just in front of the pool.
TRANSPORTATION: Those parents who select transportation will receive detailed information from the van driver, who will call the weekend prior to each session. Information will include pickup times and the driver's name and phone number.
SWIM LESSONS: Children will be tested on their first day of camp to see which level they are in. We have lessons every morning, and free swim in the afternoon. We place children according to the Red Cross certified standards. You will be notified early mid- week on their placement.
HEALTH HISTORY AND IMMUNIZATION RECORDS: Must be received by this office before any child can come to camp.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Please help us to ensure that your child will have a safe and positive experience this summer. It is important that any major changes in your child's health or environment be communicated to our nurses and/or administrators. Any information shared with us will be handled in strictest confidence.
MEDICATION DROP OFF: Our nurses will be on site on Friday June 26th from 2:00 – 7:00. Please plan your time accordingly to avoid long wait time at the Open House and the morning of the first day of the session(s). WHAT TO BRING:
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Bug repellant
- Lunch
- Pool shoes (optional 4-6 yr. olds)
- Towel (Block Hill and up)
- Wear a bathing suit to camp and pack an extra bathing suit.
- Sunscreen is necessary! Please apply sunscreen on your child before camp starts. Staff will help the children put sunscreen on after each swim, and throughout the day.
- Water bottle ( water stations are available throughout the facility)
- To help prevent lost items, all clothing and other items should be clearly labeled with your child's full name and cabin name if possible.
- Wear sneakers - not flip flops or any shoe without a backing.
